commission info

My name's Courtney and I code things! Let me code some things for you to use so you have something pretty and unique to yourself.

Currently, I'm only taking payment through Paypal. Because these are such small transactions, I'm going to ask that payments be sent as a gift to avoid the fees, but I won't take payment until the code is completed and ready to be sent. For bigger purchases, exceptions can be made and we can do proper invoices and such!

Here's a basic rundown of the commission process:

  1. Contact me and tell me what you want! This can be as specific or not as you need it to be: I can code from a sketch if you have a specific image in mind, or you can give me a list of attributes you're looking for in your code. I'll give you a price quote and make sure we're on the same page before I get going.
  2. If the design's been left to me, I'll give you some concept sketches. As an example, a request for "circular images, room for about 100 words, matching a thick-bordered theme" was given these sketches, ultimately resulting in this code. We can tweak these as much as needed until you decide you like a design!
  3. I'll make the code, give you a look see, and we can adjust it as necessary. Once we decide everything looks good, I'll take payment and then send you the code itself with instructions.

As a disclaimer, graphics editing is not my forte, but I can incorporate any graphics given to me without a problem! Graphics editing will cost extra, though.

I use a scale of $3 increments for pricing to keep an easy standard, but I'm willing to discuss more complicated or intensive designs! If you're interested in something not even kind of like anything represented here, talk to me about it! I've coded stuff like Tumblr themes in the past and I've played around with designing DW journal layouts, too. I'm willing to give most stuff a go!

$3 examples

CR charts with little else than an icon and a blurb will almost always be this much. Hovering over the thumbnails gives a description of the code and clicking it will bring you to the code itself!

$6 examples

CR charts with extras like a key or links will usually be closer to $6, and so will basic navigation tables. Hovering over the thumbnails gives a description of the code and clicking it will bring you to the code itself!

$9 examples

Profile codes are pretty much definitely going to start here because DW is not friendly about how it handles profile HTML. Navigational tables that aren't excessively simple usually start here, too. Hovering over the thumbnails gives a description of the code and clicking it will bring you to the code itself!

$12 examples

Anything that involves heavy graphic editing on my part, complex profile codes, and/or stuff with a lot of pieces and parts is going to be more expensive. Hovering over the thumbnails gives a description of the code and clicking it will bring you to the code itself!

contact

If you're interested in commissioning me, the best ways to get in contact with me are either via a PM to this account, or you can send a private Plurk to my personal account. Comments on this journal entry are unscreened, so they're not a great way to get in contact with me for your commission but you're free to ask questions here if you'd rather!

Thank you!
